Hello from the Campaign Trail
Hi, so I know that I haven't posted on this in well pretty much, well, it seems like forever. Anyways, its about midnight on a Saturday night and I'm sitting here working in my office doing some data entry. Sometimes I get so caught up in the menial tasks of working and just making sure that stuff gets done that I forget about what I'm working for. Then it just hits me all of the sudden...I'm here to get this amazingly brilliant progressive elected to Congress, someone is going to stand up and fight and actually accomplish something when he gets elected. I'm working for someone who isn't going to just rollover when the party or the Republicans tell him to. Watching Fahrenheit 9/11 last night really re-inspired me, because i realized that Jeff would never be someone who wouldn't just let an election slip away the way the Senate did. I mean, where was Feingold, Wellstone, Kerry, Kennedy, Durbin, where were all those guys to put their fucking signature on a petition. No, they just let themselves be log roled by the Republican party like they have been for the past 10 years. Its time to stop being like the Republicans and time to start fighting for what believe in and I think that Jeff is a candidate that will actually do that. Everytime I start to get caught up in the drudgery of paperwork I just remember why i'm here and it gives me a new burst of energy. I mean its midnight on a Saturday night and we're still working our tails off and loving every single second of it because we're so passionate about getting Jeff into Congress. The energy that comes from this office is outstanding and I only wish that every single one of you could be a part of this at one point in your life. Ok, that's probably enough preaching on my end. I hope everyone is doing well and I hope to hear from y'all soon.
